Is it wrong that I made a linkshell named the Darkstalkers that only allows Drk, Nin, Rdm, Blm, Thf, Cor, Drg, and Blu? By no means I hate the other jobs. I just want the darkest and some of the most powerful DD's and soloers in the game in my ls. Please give me your opinion about certian job ls.

it's perfectly ok, I've even considered joining one of Valefor's RDM linkshells

Better be inviting War, Mnk and Sam's in there as well. End game, for meriting pt's as well as overall melee dmg, all those put out some massive dmg in short amount of time. Mnk's spamming Asuran Fists, War's with their Rampage and Sam's popping off ws's as fast as they can get TP.

Had a crazy idea about making a ls called "DRKONRY" to be honest.

Why? I single job LS I can understand (there's plenty of BST LSs around) but allowing in that many jobs and not others makes you seem like a bigot...

I also had a LS once called InTheShadows, it was THF and NIN only.

One job only LSs I also can understand, but this I can't realy.

On Garuda there was a BST only LS called PETA.

Mmmm, there's a place by my work that has one of THE BEST pastrami sandwiches. They also make a pastrami burrito. ...but I haven't tried that yet.

As for the LS, go for it. The only thing stopping you from doing anything you want in game are the cookie-cutter beliefs that so many subscribe to. Sometimes you just gotta ingore them and see how it works out.

Oh and you forgot Summoners solo. That's how I get the majority of my EXP/merits.

I used to be in a Summoner only ls named "SummoningStars". People rented us out to fight Fenrir... Then this low level Summoner joined so we would get him Fenrir for free... Once he got Fen, he went back to leveling his craptastic Samurai and we never saw him again.

To me, a specific job only LS is a good thing if it's founded for a specific purpose. Example, Bst LS's. A group of like minded people chatting and helping eachother out as they walk the same path together, yet seperate.

Even the Smn LS that was mentioned earlier I think would be a good thing, but not nearly as full of purpose as a Bst LS in my opinion.

But a LS like yours, I don't see a point to it, sorry. I know what you want, "I just want the darkest and some of the most powerful DD's and soloers in the game in my ls". But the gimmick of that is going to wear off after a while if it can't be proved useful. I mean, you wanna organize a LS event? Ok, where are the Whm's and Pld's you're gonna need?

There has to be purpose to a LS that is exclusive, otherwise people won't stay. Just my 2 gil.

Took your Advice. Made my ls for Cor, and Thf's Only. Fair enough?

I see no problem with that. On the contrary, it is good that you can join linkshells that have restrictions like that, since it limits the number and most importantly the kind of people that join. I'd say that fully open linkshells are something I find very distasteful.

On Bismarck, there's a popular social LS called TheDarkstalkers. I got no problem with your Darkstalkers idea though.

On Bismarck, I'm fairly certain there's a successful SMN LS. I am 100% certain that there is at least one successful BST LS called BSTofBurden. Hope you found that interesting, ttyl!
