Monsters don't look bad but the PC figures look horrid

Ugly. Many inapropiately dressed for the jobs. We will not mention sub job choice.....
As for the marketing decision, they need snap off, replacable, heads so they can look like you. But the biggest marketing blunder was not releasing them over two years ago.
Other than that, I do like the idea.

I see that nobody has realized that these are custom figures yet. As in... modifed from other figures with sculpted parts and such.
These were made by just some guy as opposed to some company.

at first glance, I liked them, but I'm not a very critical person and, after reading your posts, I realize that they do look rather shoddy. 
What's more, the subjob choices make me think that this guy doesn't even play FFXI. ^_^;;

It's a cute idea but... I agree, they look kinda crappy. The Mithra's boobs are way too huge. I know mine don't look like that in savage gear. I think the "best" is the Galka out of the characters.
Looking at them as someone at home crafting them in his/her room... they aren't that bad.
The sub jobs make me wonder... Maybe you can swap out the outfits?? I didn't really read the site fully to see.

Ranger/Beastmaster is like for soloing I think. Get the pet to fight and stand back while shooting.
Could work for farming, maybe?
