"The Simpsons Movie" will be released Summer 2007 (I think) and it will be their swan song.

I believe that is a ballet reference. In Swan Lake the lead swan takes a loooooong time to die. Just about as long as Paul Ruben's Vampire in the Buffy movie.Sugami wrote:"Swan song"?

Oh, so no more Simpsons after the movie... about time really, only reason they've kept doing it is 'cause Matt Groening wants money and Futurama got canned.

Yeah but the original plan was to stop Simpsons a couple of seasons after Futurama, but since Futurama got the can Matt kept Simpsons going. Think he was probably getting tired of it after 15 seasons

I think the perfect ending to "The Simpsons" movie would be to have the Simpson clan literally jump the shark.
