I'm sure that quite a few of you know that Playonline.com has been totally upgraded for the rollout next week. I just want to say that I am totally amazed by it. I am watching a live stream of people in Jueno(I am assuming its the jp srvrs) it looks like your character can now sit besides kneel which is cool Youll see that there is an announcement that they are going to implement PvP into the game.

Damn this streaming video goes just about everywhere, Ive been watching it for about 15 min and i have seen Jueno, Davoi, and now Qufim

I'm just amazed, but at the same time I am angry cause I HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL MARCH TO PLAY IT AGAIN!!!!!!!!

Ughn.. I REALLY hope they don't implement a pvp system.. unless its in like an arena where the players both opt to duel or something.. because if not.. this game will turn into diablo II all over again.. where People run around screaming PKPKPKPKPK as they chase you around the game.. people will just kill you when you are trying to level up in shakrimi.. just because they got bored waiting for a ghoul to spawn... If that ever becomes the case.. I'll just go back to playing Diablo II.. where I don't have to pay a foolish monthly fee.. and see exactly the same kind of action.

gah.. it irritates me to even think about it!!

I looked at Playonline to see if they had any details. They did, though they are sparce. And it sounds like they thought of bored people who PK for the heck of it (or to steal items, the cads):

On September 26 at the Tokyo Game Show, the following future updates for FINAL FANTASY XI were announced:

* December 2003: Addition of Limbo areas and raising of the level cap.
* Between Jan. 2004 to March 2004: Further addition of Limbo areas.
* Between Jan. 2004 to March 2004: PvP in the form of fighting among nations (not PK style)

Details will be announced at a later date.

Sounds like either arena or something, but not actulally like Diablo. They said it's not PK style.

Well it seems that the World Passes are now able to be used 5 times. So 5 new people per WP.
