Markov is a IRC 'bot basically.

You type in things like, "Markov, barefisting" or "Blah blah Blah, Markov" and it spits back funny things

In the IRC channel, we end up playin' with him when things get boring.

Get an IRC client (e.g. mIRC), connect to irc.esper.net, join #mithrapride

There's a java client too somewhere (web page), but I forget where to look for it.

try http://www.animelegends.org/ and click on the "how to get anime" link on the menu at the left. This gives step-by-step instructions for getting on an IRC server.

However, there are very minor changes to the process listed there... where it says to put irc.irchighway.net in the server field, replace that with "irc.esper.net" (without quotes) and instead of typing /join #animelegends, you would type /join #mithrapride. All the other steps would be pretty much identical. That should get you connected and chatting in no time.

Savvy?

Also, they do ask you to register mirc for like $20... but uhm.. nobody does. once you are in the chat room, ask how you can get rid of the nag screens, and (depending on who is there...) you're likley to get some assistance with that too.
