Imagine if the Steal command in FFXI worked PvP.

It has. Let me explain, someone was using a hacker program when i first started. I was running through Ronfaure as a fugging n00b lost as all hell. I see "so and so steals 13,000 gil from you." that's not supposed to happen. I call a GM they investigate, turns out this idiot was using a hacking program to steal gil from players.Eviticus wrote:Imagine if the Steal command in FFXI worked PvP.

A friend plays Morowind on line. Now please understand there is nothing M about Morrowind as an ONRPG. There are 58 players on his server.Eviticus wrote:Imagine if the Steal command in FFXI worked PvP.
They have full PvP interaction, including pickpocketing. My friend is sure his pocket has been picked in town. He is low level and has little chance of decting a high level THF though. If a pickpocket is dected in town, the town guards, all high level NPCs, agro the thief.

You sure he didn't just use "/em steals 13,000 gil" to make you panic? Things can get pretty confusing when you first play FFXI.KarouKaniyashia wrote:It has. No he pretty much did a hack steal, I had 0 gil left in my inventory afterwards, after the GMs did an investigation they found he was doing that to a lot of new players
