Okay for those of you who seriously cant figure out how to pass the blu test, these are the answers I used. It was quick and simple.

1. What is destiny?

Answer: One forges for himself.

2. You find a scroll that contains great power, but will cost a sacrifice in your life.

Answer: Read the scroll.

3. You have a loved one who is dieing. They ask you to end thier life.

Answer: Grant thier request.

4. You have a choice to either save you life by living as a beast, or keep your humanity and perish.

Answer: Embrace life as a beast.

5. If only one life could be sacrificed to save thousands, would you do it?

Answer: Offer another.

6. A person who was once a friend, turns on you in battle and raises his weapon to attack you.

Answer: Cut him down.

7. You can either live a tumultous luxurious life with fame and glory, or live a tranquil life in which none would be obtainable.

Answer: Chaotic life.

8. You find a old friend on the enemy side lying on the ground in pain. His has shallow breathing.

Answer: Ignore your old friend.

9. A person in whom you own a great debt to is in power, and asks you to do something outside your sense of justice.

Answer: Follow your own sense of justice.

These are not the exact wording or order of the questions but its quite similar. The answers are exact though. Hopes this helps some of you.

And it is supposedly only some that this would be helping. Here, let me quote Somepage's description of the question part of the quest.

"The proper choices are not the same for each person, or even if the same person does it twice; it is unknown what it is exactly based on, but there seem to be some basic combinations that work for many people. The order that works for some people is choosing options 2-2-3-3-2-1-2-1-2-2; for others, choosing the third option to every question has worked."

For me, 2233212122 worked. It also worked for one friend of mine. Another friend, it didn't work, I forget what sequence did work for him. For more information on sequences, here is the Blue Mage flag quests from the following websites.

Somepage
Allakhazam
KillingIfrit

These seem to be the most reliable sources not in Engrish or Japanese. Honestly, as far as the questions, the information you need is already in this thread. But for more in depth info, consult those links.

There's an NPC I stumbled upon during the "First Night" madness when we were all looking for the Quest Starters for the new jobs who said that you need to answer each question as someone who has no heart or soul.

Also, did they adjust the learning rate on the spells? I was cooking when PH told me he'd unlocked BLU and I was bored so I was hanging out with him while he leveled and he seemed to be learning the spells right away whereas it took me numerous tries even with capped Blue Magic Skill to learn any.

Yeah Keavy that is odd. When you left me, I went to sandoria to learn sandspin and I got it on the first try. It was like that on all my blu spells that I actually saw in battle.

That is weird because I've never learned a spell on the first try. In fact the leader of my Crafting LS said it took him over an hour to learn "Metallic Body."

Maybe you just got REALLY lucky?
