How to get the Aht Urgan pass

Here's how it works, kittens and whatever else is here.
In the Tenshodo, speak to Faursel. When you talk to him, choose the Third option " ". That's right, it's nothing.
He'll go into a rant and the conversation will end. Speak to him again and tell him you want the pass.
Now you begin the quest. Choose your list. There are 4 options. Beginner, Intermidate, and Advanced. The items are tricky drops, but fairly common.
Your forth option is pay 500k. If you have that to shovel out, pay it. Then wait one game day and claim your pass.

For the record...
First option (Beginner's List): bring Faurel six items- a Damselfly Wom, Magicked Skull, Crab Apron, Wild Rabbit Tail, Cup of Dhalmel Saliva, and a Bloody Robe. That's right, it's all the subjob quest items from both subjob quests.
Second option (Intermediate List): bring Faurel three items- a Jade Cryptex, a Silver Engraving, and a Thirteen-Knot Quipus. These are Garrison items, though I don't know where from.
Third option (Advanced list): bring Faurel either.... 1) one coffer key from any one of the following areas-- Davoi, Beadeaux, Castle Oztroja, the Temple of Uggalepih, the Den of Rancor, the Quicksand Caves, or the Sea Serpent Grotto; 2) any one Testimony (Warrior's Testimony, etc.); 3) three items from Pso'Xja, a carmine chip, a cyan chip, and a gray chip.
Fourth option (Slacker / Failure list): 500,000 gil

I think the main question here is what's the difference in doing one of the options over any of the others?

Just what level you can do them at.
Most subjob items are soloable around level 25, the garrison items (which drop in Ghelsba, Palboro, and Giddeus) are about 45-50, and the keys/chips/testimonies are 70+.

Considering the frequency of keys and tests I think it's a good idea to stay clear of those items.
The garrison items are quite frequent drops even with TH1, just need to slay the "tough mobs" in those newb areas, think that's what I'll do
Unfortunately I don't think I'll get my copy till Saturday or maybe even Monday :'(

Has anyone confirmed the actual Garrison items needed? The level 20 cap Garrison Items are found in Ghelsba, Palboro and Giddeus and are actually solo'able at around level 25, they're the same mobs that drop the kazzie keys.
The level 30 cap Garrison items however are found in Davoi, Beadeaux and Castle. O, and a bit harder to solo until after level 50.
Also, the keys/testimonies are easy enough after level 55+ just from exping or doing key/test parties for af/skill-ups. The chips also drop in the level 40 cap tower so you can go there with a party and kill the mobs without too much trouble.

I just happened to have a Temple of ugly key laying about.
Two days ago a WHM testomony dropped in my lap and I tossed it....
Currently I a slumbering in the rent a room in Al Zahbi.

I'm not sure, thats why I asked if anyone knew for sure.
I had a test from camping charby in SSG earlier this week so I used that.

Those Garrison pieces drop in the higher level Beastman strongholds. The 7 knot Quipus drops in Gideous.

Ah crapsticks, wasted my time on the easy garrison items
Those yags are still easy pickings, think I'll have to go do that unless I can get help with coffer/test when I get on.

And.... I'm dead again.
Yes, my computer died on the 16th. And I had preordered it, so I have it and a dead computer. >.<
I could probably do the easy list... maybe not completely solo, but I know I can handle enough of the Dhamel saliva for the whole Caitsith branch.^^

If you can solo Dhalmels you can solo the bunnies, crabs, and flies easy. The Bloody robe is an easy drop, even if the ghost types are too big for you. Ghouls depends on your job/sub. I would think that a PLD big enough for Dhalmels could. As RDM/zip I could solo T Dhalmels, but Ghouls at 25 with a sub for me please.
