Well I decided to take a little break from FF11 to play FF10 (ive beaten it once already) and FF8 (ive not beaten this one). Hopefully ill be back in game in a good 3 weeks or so. I know ill get FFX done in about a week, but I have no clue as to how difficuly FF8 will be. If you guys have any tips or comments please send them.

FFVIII?

That one's not difficult to beat, but it's absolutely long long way...(Money Shortage...aww..... )

By the way, I beat FFVIII within 10 days.

Play around and have fun with the magic and Guardian Force junction system. That is what made the game incredibly fun for me.

Did you play it without sleeping!? :o

Well...one bad point about previous Final Fantasy series is there are too many "once you miss it, you miss it for the whole game" secrets...

FFVIII is meh... you don't actually have to really level up. If you draw from enemies and draw points constantly, you can win pretty easily...

Melee weapons kinda suck unless you upgrade them, which is a bitch and a half.

Junctioning can also potentially make your characters stupidly powerful.

Nope, like I said: I only played it and slept. :P

And I had time to get everyone to level 99. Good thing too, since I missed most of the weapon upgrades somehow...

If you actively play the Triple Triad card game (Which SE should have made online instead of Tetra Master because Tetra Master sucks) then you can fully upgrade every weapon by the end of disc 2.

A-F'ing-MEN, sister. If Triple Triad was online, I wouldn't even be playing FFXI.

Hello everyone. Yes Final Fantasy 10 is super duper easy. If you start early morning, and play all day and all night you can beat it in 2 days. Ive seen it done before. Or maybe it was three :P

a few pieces of advise for ff8.

game is rather boring at first, once you start getting alot of good magic, and junctions. it gets intresting what you can do.

when you first start i HIGHLY recommend you draw magic from enemies, i usually get 100 of cure, fire, blizzard, sleep, scan, thunder, and sometimes water before i even hit the fire cavern with 2 chars. then upgrade the two again with all you can get in dollet. they junction decently and are good for casting if you need to.

the weapons need to be upgraded, gathering the materials for them is fairly simple if you have the ff8 strategy guide (thier beastary is very complete). finding some of the rare'r monsters is kinda hard but ill give you a piece of advice for obtaining squalls lionheart by disk 2.
1. adamantioses, at dollet beach, run around there till you get some. the ones you need will be lvl 30-100. either steal them or they are a drop. youl need one.
2. laser cannons, these come off elastoids lvl 30-100, steal them or get them as a drop. you only fight elastoids in the dream sequence in the forest, or in disk 3, so get them early! when you get them, use ifrits ammo-rf abiltiy to turn them into 15 pulse ammo, you need 12 for his weapon.
3. the fury fragments, these are a drop off blue dragons. those are near trabia in disk two. youl need two, i believe they drop from lvl 15-100 or steal from 30-100. after you get this, you can upgrade his weapon.

do the sidequests to enhance the story, and get all GF's

and lastly DO NOT JUST SKIP THOUGH cutscenes or scenes where alot of dialog happens, if you do you will not know WTF is going on. FF8 can be very hard to understand if your not paying attention. and believe me the story of ff8 great, its my personal favorite.
