I knew that they where remakeing it for the DS, but Ithought it was just going to be a minor updated port like FF1-6 on PSX......but my god check this out, it will be in #D and the gaem will be almost new :p

ONION KNIGHTS!

Personally, being the old school fan that I am, I'm hoping they leave the original version included as well, just translated. The 3D look is nice, but at the same time, I'd like to play the original 2D version with an official translation, ya know? ^^

I was totally just expecting them to update the graphics to SNES quality, not go THIS far...

graphics wise, that is definatly an upgrade and a half.

now to see if the muck about the base gameplay and tweak it easier< -> harder than it was before

OMG I think I just wet myself.

The idea of multiplayer aspects is interesting, too. Any thoughts on what they will do?

FF5&6 will be release on the GBA and FF4 as well ^.^ so all the old FF games will be on a portable formate ^.^ on and there is a rumor in Japan right now that there will be a FF7 DS remake as well ^.^

And people laughed at me when i bought my DS last november.

Now its my turn to laugh.

unfortunatly its taking them over a year to port some good games over to it ><;
