Don't Galka reproduce through reincarnation or something? Like they spring fromt he ground as children or what not? If they have no women, and they are actually males.....it would make sense for them to voluntarily become eunachs.
Think about it, they're not going to be using the bits to reproduce, and if they get hit...well...it's gonna hurt alot more then if they had gotten hit without them.

As I understand it, Galka's are asexual - that is, without gender - but are assumed to be male. Because of the lack of breasts, and the presence of facial hair and what have you. Which means that they have no willy :p
