Ever did something in FFXI that you didn't mean to do and your kicking urself in the ass for it? Happened to me recently.

OK, my Mog Safe was full, we are talking the 80 slots Mog Safe and then about 14 Storage slots thanks to furniture. My dumbass accidently threw out my Drk AF Scythe Its one of those few AF weapons that is actually very kewl and useful. Why in god's name couldn't I have tossed out my Rng AF1 bow, aka the bow of suck???

Anyway though, thanks to several of my ls members tonight, I finished the last pieces of my War AF, all pieces done yay!

Getting back on track here, my question is, being I was the dumbass and threw my Drk AF scythe away, is there anyway I can do the quest over again to get my Scythe back? Or am I one screwed kitty?

Any ideas or input would be appreciated but if all your gonna do is make snarky smartass comments about what a dumb thing I did, dont post them here, I dont want to hear it cause I already know what I did was dumb and dont need to hear it again, accidents happen you know.

Thoughts? Ideas? Anyone?

once you finish all your DRK quests, you can toss all of 'em and pay 10,000 to restart ALL Of 'em.

i dont know about weapons... i know you can do that with armor though. to be honest though, drk af1 scythe isnt really that good. might i suggest mutilator (lvl 40, dmg62 , acc+3) as a replacement instead until you get a falcastra or bone scythe.

I think any AF quest can be repeated as long as you no longer have the piece.

Easy way to check. Go to the person who gave you the quest. Talk to him and see what he says.

Well the DRK AF scythe is still a good alternative for those on a budget aswell, I've seen a few good drk's survive with it for a while nicely, but yes I reccomend Mutilator aswell til bone, just from what my friend's sister says (DRK/BRD, do not ask, she uses that for Dynamis, Mage's Ballad xD )

Having Drk at the grand total of 7, I have extremely limited experince with it. However, that lvl 1 G.sword? The Chaosbringer or whatever? I toss that away, and it comes right back whenever I enter Zerhun....Too bad the AF stuff doesn't boomerang like that. Interesting idea, you could store items in Limbo doing that. Toss away your AF, go to the city in which you got the quest, get it all back....

ya, too bad that AF storage doesnt include the weapon... i actually keep my af weapons around.. for sentimental reasons.

I still have my Honor Sword...it's in my storage space, but it is there. ^^

anyways, I keep mine around for bcnm40s or anything where I need a capped axe.

H/e Imo you can if you do like Karou said. Go to LJ and talk to the npc in waag-??? magic shop and pay him 10k to restart af over.

The only reason I think you can get your weapon back is b/c as we all remember you cant start your af2 w/o doing af1 so my theory is that you can get all your af back.

That Chaosbringer upgrades to Deathbringer, the next GS you should use, level 7? 8? and not at all a bad piece.

Plus you can sell it and never have to pich Chaosbringer again.

Oh those cleverrr Bastokians. They have managed to crossbrrreed a Great Sword and a Boomerang.

If you have the FFXI Model viewer, there is a high level Staff WS where the weilder gets all Jedi on the mob's ass and does a Throw Lightsaber kinda move. Replace the staff model with a GSwrd, and you have the magical mystical returning GSwrd.
