Soloing mobs with EXPs is not the same as soloing for EXPs. EMs latley are 5 + mins and a full rest if I had to Sleep / Convert during the fight. I can chew through EPs, 1 - 3 mins each, doing most of my damage with Sword or Dagger to conserve MPs. 1K EXPs/hour is beyond my solo capabilites.

SNMs can get great EXPs soloing bombs in Ifrit's Cauldron. A friend got chain 2s there on VTs & ITs.

Yeah agreed, or any pet job for that matter. If i'm going for xp/hr say to get a buffer or finish amerit or something i generally do go for EPs or DCs too, like i said earlier EP wasps in ifrit's cauldren are practicly a 2hit kill and for 40~xp so 1k/hr easily on those, far better than struggling with a EM flamingo for 10mins for 80 or so xp.
