Just on a curious note, how many of us have heard a song on the radio or something similar to it and thought "This song is about me"? I have, multiple times. That's why I have like 9 theme songs. But, that's not the imporant thing.

If you have a theme song, tell us (Yes, by us I mean everyone on MP) what it is and who the artist is =3 also a short explination of why would be cool too!

Because I started this thread, I'll go ahead and start us off.

Reason: For a long time, I thought I could never walk along my road without some else there holding my hand. In time, I realized that it was a completely childish and foolish thought to ever think anyone would want to walk along my road with me. People were using me left and right, til finally, one day, I said I had enough, and gave up on the one thing everyone needs to live: Love. Damn you took mine. I had recently suffered a hearbreak a few months ago...went into some bad depression after she totally crushed me without saying a word (found out she's dating my worst enemy, ruins my chances with her huh?) and I realized that the only people who love me (my parents) are only in my life 3 hours a day, and then they're too tired to do much. There's always Chris though, but he's not really one of those comfort friends...and ashley never really does the same things as you. (still into pokemon about 5 years after the craze ended. I give her credit though, she can hang on to something she likes)

Until about two weeks ago! *huggles Hetty even though she's in China right now* Hm...I guess now my song'd be "Here's to the Night" love that song. Reason: Two days after Hetty and I descovered/confessed/stuff we loved each other, I had to go on vacation to florida for about two weeks. I get back, about half a week later she goes on a 3 week vacation to China. So much for quality time...I get to see her finally this saturday though after 2 months of never being able to see each other

I was expecting these were theme songs for our characters, but oh well. I think one of my better attributes is my inability to give up or admit defeat. I'm always striving to accomplish things whether they be Missions and Quests in FFXI or to accomplish my goals in real life. It may be stubborness, it probably is pride. Hence this theme song: "For My Pride" (For you Anime fans who may recognize it, it is the 1st ending theme for Shadow Skill TV series) The anime has characters who're continuously striving to be the best, and usually surmounting all obstacles because of their Pride and belief in themselves as well as their natural strength. And this song is indicative of that ideal and philosophy of never giving up. And if you don't understand Japanese you can pretend it is actually a song about Mithra PRIDE. Ha!

I know that most people don't look at this thread anymore, but I guess, it doesn't matter.

Before I post my entry, I want to think back on a few things. I have always thought myself to be trapped within the confinement of living. I never had a purpose to live, a reason to live, a reason fight, or a reason to keep fighting. My life became a giant war, and the only one who fought was me.

I felt like I had died a thousand times, and came back to life a thousand times too. Everytime I came back, I found the same things: Confinement. But, what would I do if I ever found freedom? Well, to answer my own question, I would die, and never return.

For some reason, the final episode of Cowboy Bebop, The Real Folk Blues, leaves me wondering where I am in my battle. I've been fighting so long that I've turned a cold shoulder to the world, and care not if I die, for living is only dreaming with sound.

My song, my real theme song, is the "Blue" by Yoko Kanno.

Another song that might be fitting is an instrumental song of most dire importantance to me. It is one of two songs that tell their tale in sound, not words. The first is "Rena Lanford of Arlea Village" from Star Ocean: The Second Story AND Star Ocean EX. The second is a song from Wolf's Rain, also by Yoko Kanno. It's called "Paradiso".

Finally, the last song, is yet another Yoko Kanno song, only this song is my hate and my sorrow. "Beauty is within us"

O mother dear, let me out of here!

As I come to the end of this rather lengthy and otherwise possibly final posting in this forum, I can only think of one other song. It's not instrumental, but at the same, it is. It is another Yoko Kanno song. This song, unlike the others, is how I'm feeling now that I've had a chance to give my words a tune to be remembered by. "Some Other Time".

Alll of the songs I've mentioned here can be found by simple websearch, but, I hope that soon, I can have all of them uploaded somewhere for them to be accessed at the click of a mouse. Well, thanks for letting me post. I hope someone reads all this...
