In an attempt to spice up the forums im making a Poll Everyday~

Nah....I don't like 'em. Seriously overrated in my opinion.

You hit on my 2nd obsession...its insane how much I love Harry!
I started reading the first book to my son when the fourth book came out and never stopped!
Besides the whole magic part of the books, I love how JK Rowling makes Harry and Co.s reactions and behavior true to life and teenage hood^^. Even if Harry does have a bit of a hero complex, lol.
All of her characters take on a life of their own, and most ppl can relate to at least some of them. Who didn't have a teacher that you just knew hated you, and was out to get you?
The books are a joy to read and I hope that she'll continue the series past Year 7.

I love the Harry Potter series, but I'm only reading the books after seeing the movie, so I'm not that far into the series.

Yea I don't care for the hp movies. They leave out too much. I have met a few ppl who started to read the series after seeing the movies tho

I think the novella, 30 - 50K words is the right leingth to adapt into a movie. Making a movie out of a 500 - 600 page book is HARD. It starts becoming a question of not what can be cut, but what has to be left in.

So far I like ALL the HP movies, and yes, I read the books first.

i like the books, i think the movies suck (cuts too much of the plot out, the movies should have been like LOTR, 3 and a half hours long each), and i wasnt planning on getting the new book for a week or so, but i was bored, and went to a bookstore 2 minutes after it released teh book at midnight, and i got a copy. Funny as hell, because there was a huge line for the people who purchased theirs ahead of time and were picking them up, and then the line of other people was so short i had my book in 5 min. while my friend who got there at teh same time as i did took 45 min.

i got a preodered copy as a preasent. don't get it tell next week though ; ;

I'm getting a copy from my grandma, but I have to wait until she's finished with it. I don't even know how long I'll have to wait...

I know about Harry Potter but it never really interested me.
