You know, I got to thinking "Where the crap did they think of these names for all of these NMs? I mean, half of them don't make sense". So I got this great idea.

I want to know, what do you think the funniest NM name is?

Personally, I think Taruroaster Biggsjig takes the cake =p but I gotta hear what you all gotta say first XD I might be wrong

Its a funny.. yet desturbing name...

Cactrot Rapido^-^ but Square always gave monsters wierd names like..malboro..and..Guard Scorpion..and..Aps..oh oh and Sin.

Some of the regular monster names are really good, too.

Ignis Fatuus (bomb) - Latin(I'm told) for stupid fire
Fladermaus (bat) - German for bat
Actually, there are a few amusing bat names...
Acro-bat
Com-bat

Though Malboro is a very thinly veiled comment about ciggarettes. Marlboro is a rather popular brand and in earlier FF games it was actually spelled Marlboro (at least in the US version).

My favorite NM so far seems to be Omega, for obvious reasons...that and you get the title "omega ostracizer"

Well the real names are rather funny, but me and a friend took to calling the two NM Ninja types Yagudo in Giddeus (the two that don't drop anything good and don't get camped) Eyyball and Zubu. We were using them for xp at one time, duoing everything down there and using those two as a bit of a bonus when they'd spawn. "Zubu spawn yet?" "What about Eyyball?" XD
