not able to play

I'm not sure where to put this so i'll put it here

due to computer problems i am not able to play very long before it frezzes up. which at this time seems to be a good thing. as i need to re-evaluate what i am doing in my life.

I am turning 20 in june and am looking at how i act and live right now...I noticed its not the way i want to be and need to change it though its easyer said then done.

i am not leaving ffxi just unable to play due to my computer not likeing me so untell i save up for then new one which may be a month or so depending on how things go i wont be on.

just thought i'd let people know

Such things are often caused by heat biuld up.

Get a can of air, or a vacum cleaner set on blow. Open the case. Blow out the dust.

Good for you! It wasn't till I was 23 that I did that.

As for your computer issues, if it locks after a certain amount of time after booting it's probably a heat issue. If it's random, it's probably a power supply issue. I wouldn't use a vaccuum however. The nosels of those things are massive static collectors. It will destroy your boards. Get a can of compressed air/chemical (just get one that's safe for electronics). Run you like $5.

yeah i'm going to try that but in the mean time i found a copy for ff for ps2 so all i need is a network adapter and i can play again

as far as my computer it only frezzes on ffxi i'm going to try reinstalling it see how it work but takes for ever to uninstall

i can't tell for sure but i think it is a heat issue.
my laptop burns up in a sec when i run ffxi on it, but i can run any other program and not having to deal with heat for a long time.

ffxi is just too massive for my poor laptop i guess..

try cleaning first, if you see this before uninstalling :3
