something i just kinda noticed...everyone here on the boards seems to have a real awesome sig. Exept for me. Now, with all those posts of how to make one, I would make myself my own sig..exept for one problem. I dont have the PC version of FFXI, which as i've seen in all the walkthroughs, is an absolute requirement with no way around it. So I ask you all: is there any way I can do this without my own PC version of FFXI? (or a RL friend's, none of them have it either) or, if anyone is willing and has a spare time for a kitty in need
And I know sig requests have been brought up in the past, I dont want to be a nag so you dont have to if you dont want to........ GIVE ME THE SIG!!!

BTW about that bottom sig, the mithra in the pic was created by an artist from MP Phoenix. Might want to ask Tyrfing before using it.

find a the picture link on the internet of a picture you wish to put in your sig. Then put the URL in [.i.m.g.]Insertlinkhere.com[./..i.m.g.]. without the periods in the tags.

BTW are you in MI USA? If so you might have seen him around. Mut travels to like 4 different colleges >.>;;

okies, for that first part.....it was the picture they posted right before there. how do i get THAT one on. (even that description you did confused me)

okey... here is an example:

say you want to use THIS picture in your sig:
http://www.rainbowkids.de/unterhaltung/ ... /mew17.jpg

you would use the img tags ( [.i.m.g.]. [./.i.m.g.]. )

it would look like this:

[.i.m.g.].http://www.rainbowkids.de/unterhaltung/ ... /mew17.jpg[./.i.m.g.].
(note 1: dont use periods inbetween the tag its to close it. )

A bit of a net etiquette tip:

When using a picture as a forum avatar/signature or just posting an image, use your own imagehost rather that pointing directly to the image. It leeches bandwidth from that site, and bandwidth costs money.

Save the picture to your harddrive, then upload it to a host that allows you to directly link images.

ImageShack is a good choice for a free image host that I use quite often myself.
