Ok, I am asking this question because FFXI was the very first FF game i have ever played. i like it. I like it som much that i may in fact buy some of the older FF games at a game store and play them as well.

My first FF game was FFVII. I got the demo of it with my PlayStation and soon received the game for my birthday later on. I was pretty much hooked by then and have been playing FF and other RPGs frequently since.

FFVII ALL THE WAY!!!....that was my first one been hucked since then (though I never got a PS2 so I didnt get to beat 10(I played it a bit at a friends house)). And Crystal Chronicals is a terrible game that is a disgrace to all Final Fantasy games and players everywhere....and should be shot....several times....in the head...

I found FFCC to be a rather charming deviation from the traditional Final Fantasy games. Multiplayer is what makes it all worth it though, just don't end up as the Chalice Bitch.

My personal favorites are actually FFV and VI, however.

Well, I've played FF VII, FFVIII and I have FF IX still unfinished. I liked VII and VIII the most though. :)

Ive been playing (and hooked on) Final Fantasy games since the first one on NES. And since then i have played many other type of rpgs also and have always found myself coming back to FF regardless of the new styles of gameplay. ^^

I own them all, including the ones I had to import.

I also have the one that noone seems to have that came out for the original Gameboy back in the early 90's I dont recall its name off the top of my head. Pity my old gameboy is dead..

You mean FF Legends I, II, III? Have them, beaten them....But I believe their story lines actually follow the Legend/Sword/whatever of Mana series.

My fav is FF VIII though due to the awesometacular music score. 6 rocked too.

Dont instigate deviant behavour...
for the love of altana... play them on a GBA SP (sheesh)

Final Fantasy Legend 1,2,3 were awesome. but i am still confused as to how FFL 1&2 are connected to 3 outside of a cameo appearance of Captian and his family in the Immortals world looking for a lost ark.

I love how they remade Final Fantasy Adventure/ Sword of Mana. now you get to see two sides of the story.

FFL series was the one that seemed to have a way to connect all the final fantasy titles with some of the more outragous ones by square. Final Fantasy Legend was an interdimentional trip, including pocket dimentions and the center of reality. If SE ever needs to make a reference to FFL for some strange reason, all they need to do is make an ancient tower that extends beyond the heavens be discoverable somewhere.

For the record:

FF Legend series = Romancing SaGa series in Japan, same series as SaGa Frontier

FF Adventure series = Seiken Densetsu series in Japan, same series as Secret/Sword/Legend of Mana.

A little while before I first played FFXI I played FFX and I liked the graphics alot and the epic feel was really cool but other then that it just wasn't my type of game. FFXI is perfect for me except that it gets slow sometimes. My favorite kind of game is anything like Halo 2 or Unreal Championship(not the second one, just the first).

I also found CC to be charming. Very Zelda-esque in some ways. ^^

I first started RPGs with Chrono Trigger which got me later interested in FFVII. But my true FF love besides XI is X and X-2. Just love the characters and designs the most. FFIX comes a close 2nd on that. :)

Oh, and don't forget GBAs Final Fantasy Tactics Advance and Sword of Mana. ^^
