Ahh the magic of an emergency server maintenance.

Trying to quest in windy, all of a sudden the AH's drop. well there go most my quest options for fast fame. Ohh well I might as well do proximity quests to giddeous and such. all well and good but when i get back to windy... I CAN'T SELECT DOORS!!!!!! so going inside to quest giving NPC's becomes inpossible. /cry

come on SE!! work your magic!!

It's the PoL serrrver not the game servers. Hopefully they are easier to fix then the game servers.

I'm working on getting my Teleport-mea scroll too. Any fame advice for Windy?

Go to the fishing guild,
On the dock there is a taru that tells you to bring here a Bastore Sardine.
Give her one, zone and repeat.
This is one of the most giving in my experience.
(Also one of the most anoying repeatable quest, but it got me my Mea scroll Aspir and Warp II. Windy fame 1 to 4 in 2 hours )

Another option,
Go to Bastok and buy as much Cornettes as you can and trade them all in for the Mandragora mad quest.

next to that do as much other windy quests as you can.

I agree with Shirai... Bastore Sardines will get you a lot of fame, although it's extremely boring. If you have a Federation Aketon and/or Flee, that'll help speed things up a bit, but the best thing to do is get about 2 or 3 stacks and just knock it out at one time. It'll be the worst 2 or so hours of your gaming life, but you should have enough fame to even do avatar battles by the time you're done.

You know, those repeatable quests may be easy fame,
but do other quests too.
Those quests requiring a higher fame level are mostle the most fun to do.
Next to that, quests can be very rewarding.

If you're doing the Sardine quest, it can cost you..... zilch.
Just get a rod and a Sabiki Rig and fish your own sardines in port.
No skill needed to catch those.

...but you'll have to spend even more time trying to build fame by fishing for the needed item first. I guess it depends on whether or not you want to level Fishing or find it somehow entertaining. Me, I just bought 2 stacks at the AH. Me no likey fishing.

^^ I am shocked too, I thought a pastime of mithra was to dip their tails into a stream and try to catch pugils with 'em.
