Ok, here is a fun thread where we ask questions like, why is the sky blue, etc.. and have some fun ranting.

How come all the Skeletons we see are Hume sized? Why don't we see itty bitty Taru sized skeletons or huge Galka skeletons or even mithra skeletons?

or, why can't those level 75 players who have rank 10 all nations, Zilart complete, promathia as far as you can get, done every quest, max fame, etc., STILL can't get past that one mithra in Kazham that simply says "This area is for authorized personel only".

Actually, some skeletons get really big, mostly at higher levels. But you're right, I want to fight a Tarutaru skeleton!

Why do NMs drop items that they can't even use? Do lizards really need a pair of boots?

because tarus usually got eatten by galkas or other mobs.. so you won't see their skulls.... maybe some part and pieces of bones leftover......

Hmmm...

Why is it I can steal Hare Meat off of rabbits? Are they cannibals, or do I have that witch doctor voodoo punch where I can shove my fist into it and pull out a choice hunk of meat?

Ephi, I will wager you have never been around live chickens in quantities greater than 10.

I look at the Yagudo as having a similar social structure to chickens, retaining some of the less pleasant features I have noticed. Its just the Yagudo are intelegent (sorta) and can torment each other in ways chickens are too dumb to figgure out.

My personal opnion is that whatever indignites and torments humanity heaps upon chickenkind, its OK. The chickens deserve it.

Soylent Yagudo Drink

Tigers hunt in packs, kinda like the goblins in Valkurm. They let you think you're hunting them.. then POW! you got 3 tinkers, 2 butchers, and a gambler on your tail.

Come and lay on my couch 8)

All I have to go on is this one sentence, so without knowing more about your personal circumstances and experiences, I can offer a blanket guess.

For a few months, I had a job taking phone calls from people with billing questions for a well-known telephone company. Now, I don't have to tell you that usually people are pretty upset when they are billed for more than they feel they should have been. So 9 times out of 10, I had an angry person on the phone. Even though I didn't take their unhappiness personally (unless they started issuing death threats, or something), it does start to wear on you after awhile.

The thing is, no matter how irate the person on the other end of line is, I always had to be polite back. To do otherwise would mean my termination. So, after doing this for days, weeks, and months full time, you get exposed to a lot of anger that you can't easily vent.

So, my normally kind self started acting out in mean ways. I'd snap at strangers that did the slightest thing wrong, for example... when I'm normally too shy to begin with, let alone mean spirited. I'd be more hostile and intolerant to friends and family too.

After questioning myself why, I realized the job was getting to me. When I finally quit working there, I returned to normal almost overnight.

So, long story short, I would guess if you're normally a nice guy, you don't act out on grievances against you like you might want to or should. So, when you're relatively anonymous on the Internet, you act out on the rage you've built up and become a different sort of person. In some ways this could be theraputic because you can vent your frustrations. But, ultimately, you need more of a backbone in real life when you are put down. I'm not saying you should be mean... but if you have anger, you need to deal with it constructively so you aren't carrying it with you all the way to the Internet. ;)

Hope this helps :)

I was passing through Ordelle's Caves on my way to tag a headstone for the Zilart mission I'm on.

When I finally reached the Stroper Chyme region, I found a monk had claimed the creature amidst some well known Alexander gil sellers (Appleangel and Babaytwo). The monk was about to die, and the gil sellers were licking their chops in anticipation of stealing the creature for themselves.

Well, I couldn't stand to see gil sellers win over a legitimate player, so as I was in white mage mode, I began healing the monk. It was quite a monumental effort too. I don't think this monk should have been fighting this monster.

But the best part was receiving tells from the gil sellers saying "No!"

I got distracted after the fight was over. So a few minutes later, when I continued on my way, I saw that the same monk managed to get the Stroper Chyme again! :o

This time, the gil sellers were actively trying to kill the monk by binding bats next to him. Well, I wasn't going to have this either. Being low on mp, I grabbed the attention of a nearby water elemental, and used a Lilith Rod on it to drain it of mp while I healed the monk

Anything to cause gil sellers pain :D

my highest job is 33 THF... i decided to try to solo the rest of the way to 34 because my SATA macro is stupid in pts... it'll only activate the SA part and the TA doesnt even say "unable to use job ability"... solo it works gr8 but... when i'm all ready to to SATA Viper Bite (if just the TA is f***in up i dont dare try to put Viper Bite in the same macro... in fact i never put WSs in my macros cuz with just the right amount of delay and timing its actually better for me to do the WS manually)... it really pisses me off when i just end up doin a SA Viper Bite and with the chance the mob will go after me... also the mobs kept goin after the mages just as i readied SATA Viper Bite... very irritating...
but anyway ya... im 33 THF and my 2nd highest is 31 DRG and 3rd is 10 NIN

btw way 2 go Crispleaf :2thumb:
its bad enuff they were gil sellin but lettin a real player die and trying to kill him themselves...
