Background help

Ok so see the pretty snow/ice bacground? Where is that in my FFXI folder (I've looked a bit into the POL one). I can't find it. Anyone know where I could find it? o.O

If the wallpapers would be anywhere, they'd be in the Play Online folder, not Final Fantasy.
In my searching, I came across many-a-interesting files and folder, several empty. When I was searching in the folders I found something that looked like my preferences, so I opened a file called "frandom_wp" with my notepad. This gave me a long line of text that I picked out my next destination folder: Play Online\SquareEnix\PlayOnlineViewer\usr\home01\download/wallpaper. In there were a bunch of files I could not open that appeared as image files. I'm guessing these are the downloaded wallpapers, you would just need a way to access them.

its easy lol just go to extras > wall paper dowanload and thats it lol
this is on pc by the way

Nope that's Ulegreand Range... or something like that, new CoP area. I have that as my POL wallpaper too!

I believe Silver was looking for the wallpaper for a use other than his/her POL background. With the screenshot, it's pretty obvious Silver knows how to download the background. We are now trying to find the file(s) itself on the hard drive after you download them.
If I'm mistaken somehow, I'm curious now as well so I'm posing the question: Where does the file exist on the hard drive and/or what do you need to read it?

Bingo. I'm trying to look for it on my hard drive so I can set it as my wall paper on my computer ^^

I've been looking as well, but I can't seen to find it, I come across a folder called wallpapers or something like that, but the files in there can't be opened.

I set my wallpaper as some chocobo thing (well actually my sister did it), but it got deleted during the update. Now it's just the normal POL thing...
