As for it, I have seen the room its in, its down a passage, theres a hole at the end of the passage with a door, just like the secret room in Crawler's Nest.

Well from what mysterytour says it appears you need a Infinity Core from Dynamis and a colored chip, sold by goblins in various towns, which you then trade to the strange Apparatus....

the chips? the really expensive chips that doesnt seem to be worth my gil?
i dont even no where that is... whats Dangruff Wadi? does it require all the chips or just 1?

Each Strange appratus is linked to a color/element. Dangruf Wadi, past the fumaroles in S Gustaberg, is linked to fire/red. So there you trade a Red Chip, bought from a Goblin Merchant, and an Inifinity core.
Important; NEVER trade on the element day that matches the color. If you do you will get the most expensive crystal Cluster you have ever purchased.
Tried twice. Got 8 Cerment Chunks (4K each) and 6 Rune arrows (6K each). Each try ~ 38K. Not a great loss. Wanted an Arcane Flowerpot though.
