yay!!! i finally figured out how to make and put an avatar to this frichin site
i put a similar one on my AIM buddy icon
i suck at computers in that area it took me like 10 mins to make the one seen there

and it still looks crappy hehe
but now......i have no idea how to put a signature from a picture i like from a site to appear on the signature

I guess it is pretty awful, isn't it? I don't know why I thought it was good in the first place...I mean, I made it. I spent time on it with the limited tools I have. I have no money for expensive professional art software. I know the internet can solve that, but what good will it do me? Really? Either way, a 300 dollar image manipulation program isn't going to make up for my inherent lack of art talent.

nonono... I meant the program is not the greatest or most user friendly. I didn't mean to say your signature was bad... in fact, I didn't say anything like that at all! Put it back on now... yer naked!

Well, I'm aware of how un-user-friendly it is. I'm more than aware of other un-user-friendly other stuff is, like Linux (which is what GIMP is developed for originally). I can use both GIMP and Linux somewhat competently.

I prefer free/open source software anyway. I use Firefox as my browser, Gaim as my IM client, AVG as my anti-virus , and X-Chat as my IRC client.

I do kinda hate that sig now though, it's old and there's a new version of GIMP out anyway that I'm going to try.
