Update Bugs

I don't know if anyone else has had this problem, but ever since the update on 2-17, I haven't been able to save my screen grabs. Now, nothing about my computer has changed. I haven't moved the screen grab folder around or anything like that. Is there like a limited number of screen grabs I'm allowed to have or something? Because I've never run into this problem before.
I put in a problem report via POL last night. I was having no problem taking screen grabs the night before the update -- so I can only assume that since nothing about my computer has changed, the update is to blame. Anyone else having this problem or know how to rectify it?

It was my understanding that it wasn't an update. It was just a bunch of files downloaded in advance of the update that's coming in a week or so.
I don't think it should have affected anything, but I may be wrong.

I assume your talking about screenshots? You can only have 99 screenshots before your folder is 'full', so just copy them to somewhere else

I think you are maxed to 256 screen capture using the FFXI capture system. It's crap, look into a third-party program.

I don't know how many is the max, but it is smallerrr than 256 by a bunch.

Well, I moved some of my pictures into a new folder, so we'll see. I didn't notice this issue until yesterday when I somehow by the grace of Altana wound up in Ifrit's Cauldron. I have no idea how I got there, but it's the second time that I've done that, even with a map of Yhoator Jungle. >< I wanted to take a screen grab of it, but I got the error message that it couldn't save it.

The map of Yhoator Jungle isn't really a map. I think it was a kid's coloring placemat at the Merry Minstrel. May as well be... you can only get a vague idea of where you're going by looking at it.

Well, I moved the pictures to another folder on my computer, and that didn't solve the problem. I'm still not able to save screen grabs.

Get FRAPS or Clipper or HyperSnap. Screw FFXI's capture system!

...and I realized that I had 99 screen grabs, so I decided to delete a few (even though I did move the screen grabs to another folder on my computer), and it's working again. o_O Okay...
