I haven't seen it but coming from Bradygames it's probably full of mistakes.

I didn't buy the fall '03 guide for FFXI, as I didn't start till late summer '04. But I did buy the Spring (Or was it summer) '04 version of Bradygames FFXI. I haven't noticed any errors, but it does get dated awfully fast. Half the quests have been changed, it doesn't know the slightest thing about CoP, and it has no AF quest info.
It did, however, only cost me $7. And I've gotten more then my money's worth of use from it. My advice, buy it used a month after it comes out when no one cares anymore if you're going to get it. 90% will still be useable at the least.
Or do what everyone else does and print stuff out from MysteryTour and Alla or whatever them darn kids be using now-a-days.

The two brady guides together are better than either one alone. When the atlas comes out I will buy it. I believe in research and reference materials.
But then again I am kind of a strange kitty, I LIKE reading the manual first.

I might get it...I might also get the strategy guide for the sake of having a crafting recipe list I can look at in-game.

I'll probably buy it. I know the guides have their mistakes but I have gotten more than my money's worth on both.

I'm not sure, I'd rather look at it first, because otherwise what are in-game maps for? Unless they can truly replace the use of markers (noting for us the many key places) or are just very pretty with lots of helpful anecdotes and notes then I'd probably pass. ^^
