I dont know if this happens in the other chapters to often, but its like commonplace in Valefor.

The Taru are up in arms because we can't allow them to join the Pride. I even had 3 different Taru ask to become my "danceing teddy bear". It verrrrrry hard to resist a cute dancing taru.

Someone help me, I am lost in a sea of Bouncing TARU's How can I resist.

Seeing as I spend most of my time in Sandy to mine Fire Crystals, I get alot of Elvaan begging me. Just hold tight your Mithran Pride and remind them they -can- join the forums if they truely wish, but Pearls are off limits to non-mithrans.

Taru? Cute? It's been a while since I've partied with one that wasn't a little leg humper. Well, it's always the males, though...

Yeah...we've gone 'round and 'round with this one on Midgardsormr. My advice: unless you want to drastically alter your rules (I know one MP branch allows mates of Mithra into the LS), never let a non-Mithra in, no matter who it is. It just causes serious problems.

In the past non-Mithra have asked for pearls, and I always politely tell them, "MithraPride is Mithra-only. I'm sorry." Some of them get annoyed and call us racist.

But yeah...Tarus seem to be the worst about liking Mithra. They think they are so cute and that entitles them to licking us, humping us, pulling our tails (I HATE THAT! ), and so forth. Just punt them.

Oh, and Kopopo is an exception to this. He's Teh Cutaru, so we keep him around.

However, it should be noted, that even the Mighty Kopopo does not have a pearl.

I say throw the taru's in a trach can, they will never get out they can't jump very high

But yeah, Elvaan's aren't bad on Phoenix, nor are tarutaru

I don't get Taru requests, but I get Galka requests all the time. They keep telling me they are just big and fat kitties.

I have met many nice tarus, and many sicko tarus. what you do is tell them that it is an all-mithra LS, if they want to be in a race-specific LS there's always TaruArmy. and when they say you're racist, just say that you dont make the rules, you just enforce them and u'll get in big trouble if you break the rules. or something like that.

the worst thing i get is when people ask if their mule (mithra) can join when their main character is not.. *dilema* >@.@<

I dont see why thier 'mule' char cant join if its a Mithra, just be careful in giving that 'mule' char a sack .. cause you know that soon you will be seeing that persons main char in the pride .. and we dont want that

I used to give mules pearls, then I realized, what is really the point. Most people are never actively playing on their mules and as such, are never on the LS.

Taru, /sigh I keep stepping on them being a big clumsy Elvaan and all. I try to apologize, but they get all idignant on me. No offense to Kopopo, but Taru should have to wear bright orange and yellow clothing to avoid beiing stepped on by Elvaan, Humes and especialy Galka. Of course i heard Galka are color blind so maybe it wouldn't work to wear bright orange clothing.... I had a Galka run into the the other day at the auction house and he knocked me down and gave me a bump on the head, I had to case Cure II on myself three times to recover and even then my vision was blurry for a week. I can just imagine if he ran over a poor taru.


Maybe the moogles should make a belt that makes the Taru bigger and the Elvaan, Galka and humes smaller so there are less injuries around the auction houses.

Anyhow, MP is indeed mithra only and that stays that way.
Just tell them that politely, if they start calling you racist and such there's a few options.

I dislike the fact that ppl meaning non-cats come up to me amd ask if they can join! All types of ppl ask but the answer is the same NO YOU CANT. there are other linkshells for one race only ppl. I truly dont see why they want in so bad. I am begining to feel like they think its sexy or some other perverted things.
All i can say is i'm proud that i am a cat and have a LS with very kind ppl.

Quetz MP LS invites Tarus if you are a RL friend of leader or commander.

Hrrrm? This is news to me. Last I check Quetzalcoatl MP was Mithra only.

Guess again. There are 2 Tarus that I know of.

After reading that you've only been in the Quetz LS for 2 hours I would like to know where it is based upon.
I'm not on Quetz so I can't confirm this but I would like to read more from other Quetz MP members to get an overall view of this.

For example if it were to be true that other then Mithra would be in that LS for a while, or poor leadership wouldn't it be posted sooner?
Right now I just have the impression that you just have something against the LS.

Yea they are like Chuauaua's Cute when they belong to someone else and only for small periods of time, then they get annoying.

Similiarties between Taru and Chuauaua's

1)Both hump anything and everything, rarly accomplishing anything much less contact outside the humping motion.

Well, Kopopo, the sad thing is that there other members of your race who damage the good reputations of the few. As far as mithra go many people think all mithra are sluts because a few hussies walk around darn-near naked using their bodies to sell their wares. Thus, they ruin it for the rest of us. Many unfortunate humes have had to be subdued by swift inguinal kicks by yours truly.

Tivia, Even we noble Elvaan are not immune to Taru harrasment. The other day i was in Selbina and a little taru came up to me while i was healing myself from a arather unfourtunate encounter with a Goblin Gambler, i guess he liked to Gamble with his life cause he lost it after trying to mess with me. Anyways, I washealing by the city gate and this little Taru comes up to me and starts working on my leg in a most unpleasant way. I tried to shake my leg free of him, but he kept working himself on it. It was disgusting! I had to replace the Fine Trousers I had bought earlier that week in Bastock. Those Trousers were expensive!!! Even after my moogle cleaned them, I couldn't put them on.

The strange thing was, in all the time I spent in windurst earlier I never had an incident like this happen to me. Do the Cardians throw out little Taru who have become corrupted, never to let them into windurst again? Or do Taru who travel abroad get corrupted somehow, or was i just an unlucky individual who ran into the wrong Taru at the wrong time?

but you guys don't know how to shoot, hold a bow, or hit anything you aim at.

Maybe if you held a bow properly, you'd he able to hit what you're aiming at.
