Theory- Formula for crafting Skillups

While at work today I stumbled on a interesting post on Alla. (Good to see I'm working hard
) It is a formula that somebody had come across while trying to figure the rate of skill-ups on crafting. It help label the right days, moon faces, directions, etc.

Yes, very interesting. I was wondering if there was some thing like this out there; thanks for posting this.
*Looks down at the hammer, then at the Iron Sheet, then the Brass Sheet, then back to the hammer and thinks*
I'll let you know how this goes when I get a chance to craft again.

I think i'll be cooking the rest of this week to skill up, so this was a good find and will be fairly useful if it works.

He fails to mention the Workbench.
In my experience the Workbench is worth, at a minimum +1, probably +2, perhaps more.
While not a powerleveler, sometimes I will push 9 levels with a recipie. I have a greater sucess rate pushing 9 levels with the workbench than pushing 7 levels without it.
Any other kittys out there use it?

I have a workbench... but i got mine just to have something to put my flowerpots on.. now that i'm actually gonna start clothcraft it will see more use...

Forgive my ignorance back buy "use" you mean just have it out in your mog house right?

I've never heard anyone mention this before... and I frequent a lot of crafting boards. I have had one of these in my moghouse since I started crafting up until a week or so ago when I took it out so I could get desynthesis moghancement. After removing it, I didn't notice any difference in success though.
