Wyvern names

I've seen on allakhazam that you can change your Wyvern's name with a quest in Norg, 3 to be exact...I would like to know what i have to do for these quests, i have looked at the list and so far i want Celeste from list 2
so, before i head out for Norg(which i almost got to by accident once when looking for Yhoator Jungle without help a month ago yet still dont know how to get there) i'd like to know what i can get for it without heading there first.

Ok, I don't know if fame is required for this, but it's not really a quest per se. I went to norg to polish off Samurai, and I wanted to change my Wyvern's name to Soleil in the process. So I tracked down the NPC, not hard, and they said something along the lines of...
Oooh, is that a Wyvern you have there? You know, when you get them you can name them, but their name doesn't have to be permanent. You can change them. For a small price, I can change their name for you.
I heard that the price for changing the name is 10k, and that's probably true. But I'm thinking that's more then likely the base amount, and it's altered by Fame. I had to pay 9800. And the person gives you all three lists, one at a time, you can choose a name from.
Oooh, and by the way. Good luck on getting to Norg on -accident-. That's a death wish unless you're packing AF clad buddies or a few Silent Oils.

never knew you could do that. cool.
i didn't know that there were 3 lists... when i got my wyvern, it musta been time for the lame list.. i mean most or the names didn't exactly strike fear to the hearts of enemies... like george... or lady.. -_-
ended up choosing the only logical name on that list... Lumiere.. since it was the closest thing to Hikari i could find (they both mean "Light" in thier respective languages)
maybe i can find a list that lists all the possible names..

You still need to go through Sea Serpent Grotto... An entirely chocobo free zone.

No, this is about REnaming your Wivern. Read it again.

I also had to pay 9800 gil to change my wyvrns name. The NPC is by the acution house in Norg. (easy way to get to norg.. take all rights in the Grotto till you get to the hidden door.. then continue to take all rights after the door- silent oil needed)

You can name the wyvern Azure... that makes me happy
! Now to get to lvl 30....

When you first get Dragoon unlocked you're forced to choose from the small basic list. This NPC in Norg is there so you don't have to stick with that name. Her lists are just expanded versions of the original one you had to choose from. I've been tempted to change my wyvern's name myself but on Alexander it doesn't seem that the name Mikan is all too common so I might just stick with it

The list you get when you unlock Dragoon appears to be completely random. I've compared the list I had with my friends and the actual three lists, and found no matches.
I chose Delphyne, and became attached to that name after a short time, so I never wanted to change it. ^^

i got a good laugh when i got drg becouse my player name is Nhiha and my wyverns name is Vhiki kinda similiar huh?
