A great many Sky NM's died tonight, went on Sky farming run for God pop trigger items tonight. Got almost all that we needed too save one. Also helped fellow ls members finish up ZM 5.

Got WAR to lvl 28 before logging out with 2k exp to lvl 29. Forgot to bring a Warp item with me, so at present, I'm in a corner somewhere in the jungle, hoping I have enough Prism Powder to make it home safely.

After a rocky start, friends and I breezed thru ZMs, 4-12 np. Helps having friends in high places lol. Although I can honestly say I pulled my weight^^

Ended up doing 8 and 12 without our blm today (we went as a party of 5) and to be honest, didn't really notice the lack. We're gonna take a break, explore sky a bit and then go finish Zilart missions

Don't be in a big hurry to getting into Dynamis. I have been in several Dynamis runs and many ended in a lot of death/xp loss. While it can be fun most of the good drops goto the higher lvl players as they can use it sooner than you would. Also many Dynamis linkshells either keep all the ancient currency that is dropped for themselves (aka the LS bank) of you have to pay to get in as Dynamis costs 1million gil all together to get in.

I say go for it if u want to you can at least get the wins if u go with a good group. It's all bout how good the ppl r in dynamis. My 1st dynamis was great and I only died b/c i ran into some mobs b4 the win. It's all bout who u go with

WAR lvl 29. Soloed my last exp in Jugner Forest. Had some fun there; killed a Walking Tree (which made me happy), but had a close run-in when two tigers decided to aggro me while I was recovering from paralysis. Had to 2-hr to survive that >.<

Also got up to 540 carps on the Lu Shang's quest. over 1/20th of the way there way!

So, Losfuin, Kateevia, Keavy, Rosekitten, Sheu, and Naafeih are in Valkrum Dunes, hunting. Keavy has been told by Losfuin that, if Keavy brings her the a Silver Earring, a Lapis Lazuli, and an Earth Crystal, Losfuin will make Keavy an earring for her Leviathan and Ifrit fights.
So, Keavy meets up with Losfuin and co, who are by some trees. Keavy hands Losfuin the materials. Losfuin takes off her rings and helmet, puts on her Shaded Spectacles, and prepares to synth.
When suddenly...

Lol, seriously, was good fun getting a party of us together to hunt VE. The feeling you get from claimed a highly camped NM from - literally - under the nose of a 72 SMN (he drew he weapon just as I use Provoke) - was crazy. Heart was goin at 1000bpm, it felt like. Too bad my screenshot didn't paste to Paint >.<

Unlocked BST and DRK. My god did the DRK quest suck. Also working on the BRD quest, and plan on doing RNG some time soon. And the main one I want, PLD ^^

lol, it seems Ambrey is gaining for level of WAR each time I do. Which is kinda sad for me, considering the vast difference between us ^^

Got my red mage testimony on the second hover tank and dinged 50 in alchemy.

Haven't really been lvling this week since my static friends are all happily dying to Maat right now. Personally, I'm just going to wait until 69, I really don't want to start the painful cycle of test farming/dying to maat just yet.

Would've been 74 tonight but Nin and mages crapped out about 4am lol Left me at about 5k tnl, sonofabitch... On the brighter side I came out with 7 stacks of wind crystals, 15 giant bird feathers, 2 giant bird plumes, that outta cover the sushi and shihei I used tonight.

Finally beat Maat's ass into the ground as PLD70! WOOT! ^^

I hear PLD maat is cake how was he for you?

Haven't played FFXI in like a week or so, big accomplishment

6 failed attempts at beating him before finally managing it on the 7th try. PLD Maat is not as cake as some people would like you to believe. My sixth try he used Asuran Fists 8 times in a row. The only thing keeping me alive was Invincible...and he kept using Asuran Fists till it wore off. <.<;

Hehe that reminds me of my RDM tries, 5 times in 3 efforts. There is definately something that triggers him to do the Asurian Fist spam, for RDM think it's after 5mins not sure about PLD ^^; In the end I just gave up and leveled DRG up to 69 (was 67 when RDM was 70) to do it and just beat him and broke record
What's teh PLD strategy for maat? What was your completion time and how close to death were you?
