{I'm interested.} Thing is, I have classes till May 5th. If you schedule this before that time, it is unlikely that I will be able to attend. Also I work most every day in the afternoon, but it sounds like an all day event so I don't think that will be a problem.

Well, you could always make a different pearl and hand those out to everyone who's participating. Then it wouldn't really matter if Batsu had one, although I'm no big fan of his. Maybe we could call it something like MPFieldDay.

Fayin, im going to try to make this so the most amount of people can come, which means

1 - its going to be on a weekend
2 - its going to last for most of the day so anyone who cant make a certain time can still make it

the problem with trying to set this up on a server that MP isn't on...how to get funding for world passes?

it would be nice to start another MP on another world, but yes funding will be hard, but what if we have a few people just randomly create/delete chars until they get an area where there is no MP and work a weekend on lvling up and farming something that sells well, even a stack of crystals, becasue we all know certain crystals sell well and where to get them. Then get a couple of friends to come help. Wouldnt take that much time, and a little bit of work, but if we really wanted we could. Because we all know we mithra can do anything

yeah, that is the difficulty of setting it up on a empty server, that is why i think Midgard and Titan are two good choices. i understand that pretty much everyone would want it on their own server, but it just doesnt work, Midgard is a good choice because it was the initial MP server after the Beta, and Titan works because it would allow for me to set everything up ahead of time, plus the majority of people helping me with this are from my server anyway, it makes communication and assistance much much easier. as for a date, ill have to get back to you on that this weekend, ill post a date on either saturday or sunday, probably a couple dates so that way we can find out what works best for the highest majority.

punker, apparently, you can create you extra character at no cost (follows the free 1st month policy), so you can make a character and then delete it at no charge if it were to say be on Midgard.

I can get us passes to a server MP isn't on very easily.

i'd like to join in but... i'm really to lazy to start a new char... u cant just delete the char u have to cancel that char bcuz if u just delete the char itll still bill u cuz u still have the option of creating a new char after u delete it... i think... cuz doesnt it say that every time u purchase a new Content ID?

Uh, you purchase a Content ID, you create a character, go to the server, play around for a day or so, delete character, cancel Content ID. I'm sure you can find a dollar somewhere.

I live on Garuda. I have four active characters, and three mules in the starting cities. My best friend has about six more who could buy world passes. Thats 13 passes right off the bat.

I bet some of my friends, kitty and otherwise, would buy passes too.

The biggest problem is that one character can buy only one World pass at a time. I think if it is used up fast, you can then buy another, don't know.

My personal problem is around the proposed date, I may be visiting my mom on the other coast. I can buy a laptop for the event. maybe a PS2.

Edit : OK, I just counted. Chikusai and I have 16 characters and mules on three accounts who can buy passes. If anyone knows the secret quest to unlock the invisible World Pass salesman in jeuno, that's two morrre.

Seriously, 16 passes at 6 visitors per pass (it is six isn't it?) = 96 people without asking anyone else to buy one.

I have a character and 2 mules on gilgamesh. As it stands when I create any other $1 characters, they default to my server. If I create one that I use a worldpass and it goes to say midgard, delete it, then later try to create a new mule, will the new mule go to midgar or gilgamesh? My concern is if I had to create new mules and each time had to purchase a new world pass for gilgamesh because of this event, that would be a problem. Any thoughts or ideas on this?

On one account we have one character on Fairy, the rest on Garuda, natch. We can specify Garuda or Fairy without buying a pass for either, and land on the right world just fine.

midgard. I refuse diabolos becuase there im just a wandering ronin, and fenrir? my b/f plays on there and likes to show off his sam skillz that and his fiancee Lex might not like him doing that.

No. . . we should NOT and I repeat NOT hold this event on a server with people who have already exisiting characters there. Its just not fair to the other people who have to put in the extra effort and the fact that they can't use their character.

Meh, I think Midgard would be fine. At least there will be some people there with funds, and I'm sure everyone has at least one level 1 job.

I vote for Midgard since it was the 1st MP server.
