Tanked Cerberus last night, lived through the whole thing, only PLD/NIN there, with support from 2 NIN/WARs and a kick-ass HNM shell. Poor NINs had trouble yanking hate off of me till I got hit a few times, then I'd start building hate back up again.

This weekend:

-My endgame shell is still undefeated at Dynamis.
Dynamis - Buburimu Interloped.

-Sea gods again like every weekend.
Virtues 100% droprate hell yes!! JoL/AV here we come!

Also I lead a Divine Might Fight tonight and my group went 2/2 ^.^
I got to go Nin too and i kited the HM real good. Now what to do lol

The last case was a doosy(sp?), I had to get help quite a few times and the plot etc. just awesome.

Justice For All is great; they introduced this "psyche-lock" thing during the investigation phase. It's basically a mini-trial to get the witness to cough up some information they want to keep quiet. You have a health bar as opposed to 4 or 5 chances and it refills 50% when successfully unlocking a psyche-lock or 100% on completing a case so it is quite a bit harder than the original.

Unlocked BLU over the weekend and enjoyed most of the rest of the time being whacked on by monsters!

Me and my friend are turning pretty static with my WHM and his DRK: we hit 32 this weekend and will soon have a third in our static, a bard.... we just have to catch up to him.

Did they change Lizzy's drop rate in that last update?

I remember a BIG complaint was "OK, these things are now Rare/Ex, so why the horrid drop rate?"

I know a few Garudians who have gotten those recently. I may have to try soon.

Much easier when I have a lvl 75 Rdm to pwn the NM's. And I can get the coffer chest keys as rdm. But do I have to be DRK to open up the coffer and get my AF?

I got them about a lil' less than year ago, so I'm sure the recent update had nothing to do with the drop rate... I seem to just be lucky w/ LL.
Before I got mine, I got 'em to drop for a friend of mine who had gone... like... 0/16 maybe?? I forget now... but we were out there duo-ing on lvl 10ish jobs and I had to 2hr (on my baby SAM, hella fun) to kill it lol. Good stuff

Today's accomplishments:

On coffers that give you the Artifact pieces directly you have to be the job itself to get it when you open the coffer.
You will also have to be that specific job to open the quests.
However the AF (1-2-3) quests (NM fights/BC etc depending on quest) themselves can be done on any job when you have the quest open, also the coffer that gives you the key Item (The old gloves) you need to fight Dark Spark can be opened by any job, since that's a quest key item.
You can also fight Dark Spark on any job.

Strafe modification level 1.

High Jump recast modification level 1.

You can get key-items as any job (from coffers or from quests), but you need to be the right job to pluck the actual AF from a coffer.

OMG I am loving BLU! I've only hit 8 and I feel like I am invincible. Maybe it's just because I've been playing for a while now but I've never felt so at ease taking on tough mobs solo. I don't really even have to rely on my WHM sub. Pollen is more effective than Cure spells that I was throwing a couple levels higher as a WHM. {Stoneskin} at level 8 with {Metallic Body} is just nuts. I've got all of the spells I can currently use and am working on the higher level ones at the moment - already have Headbutt.

This may be my first 75 unless obtaining spells becomes much, much harder in the future.

It's one of the free fonts from blambot although I do not remember the name of it at the moment. He's got a lot of awesome free and pay fonts that he's created.

To steer us back onto topic, I scored the Mycophile gloves last night (+2 Mind -4 Enmity (or is it -2?) for my WHM). A firend of mine told me that a latent affect is Mycophile gloves + mushroom stew + curaga = no hate; is that true?!

I'll try it out tonight!

I find BLU a blast, but I find the farming for spells far too time consuming.

Metalic body = Stoneskin for 40 points of damage. Hint; cast it before you rest for MPs. Lasts a long time if nothing is hitting you.

Some of the better spells come from places like Sea, Lusifase Meadows, and Dragons in Dynamis. I think you can get to 50 before you need any of those.

True, but I don't count the summoner's cape as AF as it is really an Intensifying Cape with an extra -1 Enmity added, nothing more -.-

Blonde, dat swap ftw!

And don't underestamate the avatar critical hit rate even if it is +3% it is +3% hehe.
It's a nice swap in with my Blood pact: Rage Macros.
And yes on the corresponding day I have free avatars with Refresh or double ballad.

When I have the AFv2 head and the corresponding day/weather I can have free avatars without the help of refresh.
