Gamestop has a pretty fair deal if your wii was quite old like mine.
Trade in your wii + 1 additional wiimote+ nunchuck and get the black wii for $50. So thats 2 wii motes and 2 nunchucks to be clear. Pretty darn good deal if you have a spare wii mote you aren't using for a brand new one under full warranty.
Since I had a first gen launch day unit, I had a few issues with mine. Mostly the graphics memory artifacting, overheating and freezing. So upgrading to a new one in a non suck color for a mere $50 was a steal imo.
It is what they should of launched in the first place. The Blue slot light looks freaking nice against the high gloss black. I happened to have a clear acrylic blue led lit base for mine as well which looks even better.
