I wouldn't count on a PS3 port just yet. There has been rumors that SE is unveiling Rapture at E3, which if holds true, is only slated for the PS3 and PC. At any rate, we'll find out in a few days.

They should be releasing information on Rapture, but that is far from releasing the game itself.
I read in some release somewhere that Rapture was to be announced as being developed for the PS3. (I will try to link to this later.)
FFXIII, being developed for multiple platforms, is said to be released first on either cell phones or the PS3 depending on the source.
I REALLY hope all this adds up to is a hard push to get Japan's PS2 otaku into the PS3. And the end of PS2 limitations. I believe it is primarily the Japanese PS2 population that is holding this game back in many ways.

Yes, which is why the PS3 version is being held back so they can release on both consoles at the same time..which rather pisses me off tbh, as the 360 only owners can wait a few months or buy a PS3 as far as I am concerned. I want SE OFF OF 360. Period. Microsoft has done nothing to earn Anything SE Has to offer. I wouldn't really mind waiting a few months more for FFXIII but SE would be pretty stupid losing out on the 360 market as well (they've made two separate JRPGs on it methinks).

I don't like having Square Enix putting FF on 360. If they port FFXI to PS3 I can be free of the microsoft screwjobs. Last Remnant looked kinda iffy, there was another one I forget the name of. I don't see the problem of putting FF titles on the 360 if they're happy doing non-FF titles. Declaring the 360 as not an "RPG Console" is a bit... arrogant, don't you think? It has all the capabilities of the PS3 (more or less). Why don't I just declare the PS3 as not a console entirely, just a cheapo BluRay player of sorts?
