There's another interview on gametrailers methinks where he talks about toning it down from an M to a T and by the sounds of it removing fatalities.
The more I see and hear about this the more it looks like they've brutally raped this franchise

Yeah that was pretty much my reaction
"Superman won't be killing someone," is what he said methinks. Instead there'll be a kind of Brutality but they won't explode into an array of blood, guts and bones like in UMK3
