Its weird, but people DO get that excited over stuff like that. When I worked at Wendy's we had a special burger we'd sell for a limited time. It was a bacon mushroom cheeseburger and when we stopped selling it people actually got upset!

I, personally, have always been a fan of the Whopper myself. In fact, the nearest Burger King is a 30 minute freeway drive and I'll gladly make the trip when necessary.

We used to have a bunch of Burger King's around here but they were all franchises and the owner went bankrupt after one of them burned down. The rest closed shortly thereafter.

As for the "I don't need rabbit food on my burger" people you clearly have not had real vegetables on your burger. You've probably had the wilted lettuce, flavorless tomatoes, soggy pickles, and freeze-dried onions. If I was served a burger with veggies like that, I'd agree with you.

It's funny to see people actually react like that.

I haven't been to the B.K. Lounge in years.

Yeah I hate rabbit food, Mc Donald's is the worst with that putting ketchup, mustard and f-ing gerkins in... who the f- likes gerkins?!

I prefer Mc D's over BK for their nuggets, I don't really like Mc D's beef burgers.

That wasn't exactly a fair test to declare the Whopper as America's favourite burger. They only did the tests inside of Burger King, of course some of the people are going to prefer it to the other competitors :P Ask people in Mc D's and there'll be a few who'll hate BK.

Oh yes. In-n-out and Tommy's (South Western fast food places that are in America) are, in short, the greatest places you'll ever visit.

If you're in california, search/hunt them out. Tommies if you like Chili food, and In-n-out if you want a damn good burger (And fresh cut fries).

In the little known town of Ephrata WA there is a fast food place that serves beefalo* burgers. Not only does this beat any all beef burger hands down, they REALLY make it your way, even if your way is blood rare. Oh yes, each one fresh made so it isn't really fast food.

*Usually a breed consisting of 3/8 buffalo 5/8 cow. 1/2 the fat, 1/3 the cholesterol of beef. You can gobble these and feel virtuous.

I love In 'N Out's fries. Only complaint I have is they only have one size.

There's two local places that I freaking love and beat the big guys hands down: Whitey's Jolly Kone and Wiener Works. Both are quite pricey (Think $10 for a meal) but you get a lot of food and they have the best burgers and Wiener Works has killer hot dogs, too.

I've raved in the past about my love for Steve's pizza so I won't go on about that here.

North central WA, Grant county. Not too far west of Moses Lake which you might have heard of.
