Ok.... I should of stopped when I heard the NM was in Nashmau

I should of stopped when I spawned him and saw him slice through stoneskin.

I should of stopped when he was spamming WS like crazy.

I should of warped when I saw my mp was at 100 and health was getting low....

But pride often clouds judgement. I layed there unconcious as the NM walked away with my blood on his sword.... and my pride as a Rdm.

Any healer + blinker can duo him very easily, but he's kinda hard solo.

RDM/nin should be able to solo him, but if you ever skip a blink thinking "oh, I can put it up later and let SS eat the damage", you need to think again. Aim for extremely defensive style.

I solo'd him myself -- I'm pretty sure I was on THF/nin (was a long time ago). I almost died cuz you can't drain hp from a fomor with bloody bolts and I didn't find that out until after I started the fight. He's got an insane amount of HP. I did at least 10 DEs against him (averaging about 500 a DE). You have to perfect-blink on him. If you let him hit you even once as a THF/nin, you're better off hitting flee and zoning.

It was a LONG fight: 10~15m. In retrospect, I wish I had done it as NIN/whm instead. Lack of bloody-bolts for healing was painful.

If I ever get back on I'll be the healer for Pheonix because I don't mind helping him because he's helped me many times in the past.

Besides, it sounds like it may be fun.
