Hello all, I have been gone since AUG 2006, dont know if anyone remembers me at all :p

I have hopped around and honestly, came to the realization that, this was the only game where I truly (even though I bitched about the game mechanics) had fun....

I read what they are doing/did in the March patch, and was thinking about coming back.

I don't know if my old self is gone or not, but if so, I would also like to know what server has the biggest MP pop, so I could maybe join a new group.

I am leaving for work after I finish posting this, and would also like to know if anyone is running FFXI on Windows Vista....I had to upgrade my PC and my OS for work, and I am running the 64-bit Vista OS.....not sure if FFXI will run or not

I had to do alot of tricks..... (stupid Vista) but I think I got it all working, just need to *hits self on head* update. While I am doing that, any server want to take a poor "newbie" (wow never thought I would call myself that again....) in and raise as their own?

Yeah, I have heard about the contortions needed to make FFXI run on Vista.

If you would like Garuda, I am in a decent LS there, no MP on Garuda though.

I remember you too, and we'll take you on Valefor, but we're pretty much dead. Once Kessa gets back from Iraq we hope we'll be able to the shell. He should be back any day now, I think.

Yeah, same thing happened to me. Weird thing was that my old main character was gone but my mule was still there.

Also, I couldn't use the old main's name when I recreated her, thus she was named Keavy.

Yeah, we'll take you on Valefor. I'm about ot use my main WHM to powerlevel a Red Mage. Which means that if you can get to Dunes within a day. Lets just say you'll be back up to speed in no time.

thank you ^.^ wish I could stay connected though.... I can connect, and login, was playing for an hour when I first started...but now all I get is R=0 as soon as I log in and time out every time.....not sure if it has anything to do with me using Vista but I can fix it -.-
