Taking a break
FFXI is losing intrest to me and fast. Im taking a 1 month break and coming back to it. Ill still be posting here in MP though ^_^

Honestly, you have to take breaks. I took about a six-week break shortly after ToAU came out to let that madness settle down. When I came back, things were back to normal (Well, as normal as FFXI gets) and I was refreshed.
I find that every three months or so I need a break.
Those that never take breaks are the ones that go postal and die in a hail of GM arrows.

I started playing Silkroad Online for my break. Free MMORPG with decent graphics (read: you can probably play it on max settings without too much difficulty) and the occasional Engrish translations. Its downright easy compared to FFXI but I'm having fun with it for the time being. I like the way PvP was implemented into it. SE should take notes and start doing PvP in a similar way. You can't actually attack another player until level 20. I'm level 18 now and I so wanted to pk the moron that kept ksing on me.Pheonixhawk wrote:FFXI is losing intrest to me and fast. Since so many people play it I had a hard time finding a name to use. I ended up naming my character after my new Syntax Olevia HDTV. Olevia has a nice sound to it though. I'm playing on the Babel server.
