I saw THIS thread on Alla a few days back. Five months into the game, and it's still taught me a few things. It's aimed at newbies, but contains lots and lots of helpful hints for playing the game, as well as things related to POL. Well worth a read.

Yea, learning the lingo is an essential part of playing on online game. Some people may tell you that it's stupid to need something like that, but those are the types of people who say they were never newbs, which we all know is wrong

of course I didnt have that so i learned most of these terms by piecing them together by the situation, listening to the conversation and, *ghasp* asking, which i find nobody ever does anymore

Months after the /shutdown was added, I called PoL with a problem, my machine would sometimes crash on /shutdown.

Techinical Support's answer, "Final Fantasy does not support a shutdown function."

Don't feel bad if you didn't know it.

I will have to try that tonight, if only too see what happens. I have to say that POL surport staff are funny lot of people. I asked a qestion once, they reply "this is indeed problem". LOL.

I have read the whole list you posted. I have discoverd alot.
