I disagree.....I played DQVIII and it was a really good game, but yeah I do thing that the sales where help a little with that demo :p

I love Dragon Quest VIII too (I loved Dark Cloud 2 and when I heard Level 5, who made DC2 was working on DQ8 I had a nerdgasm.)

A friend made that after his finals and sent it to me and I thought i'd share.
