I know many kitties across the world are trying to defeat this almighty tyrant that is Absolute Virtue. I think I may have uncovered something.
Think back for a second. There are 7 jailers that sealed him away, right? They are named after the deadly sins.
In Eldieme Necropolis, there are the seven skulls of the deadly sins (Connection!?).
The skulls drop the weapons, and the jailers hold him back. If the jailers sealed him away, maybe, just maybe, the weapons could hold the key to killing him.

They aren't named after the deadly sins
Jailer of Love
Jailer of Prudence
Jailer of Justice
Jailer of Temperance
Jailer of Hope
Jailer of Fortitude
Jailer of Faith
And to be honest this isn't the best place to post about something like this, the majority of people that post don't really seem to be into endgame stuff anyways.

True but I also think that most people who post here aren't in a position to do the endgame stuff. Otherwise I think it would come up more often.kashell wrote:And to be honest this isn't the best place to post about something like this, the majority of people that post don't really seem to be into endgame stuff anyways.
Nevertheless, interesting observations Angel.

Actually, there is some merit to the idea.
The Old Testament of the Bible lists the "seven deadly sins." We all heard the phrase, at the very least.
But one of the counters of these sins are the seven heavenly virtues, and the Jailers are obviously named after these.
The first four virtues - prudence, courage, temperance, and justice - are taken from what the great Greek philosophers considered the greatest virtues.
The last three vitures - faith, hope, and love - are found in Paul's writings to the church in the New Testament as the greatest virtues a Christian can have (the greatest being love).
Later, the capital C Church combined the latter with the former to create the seven heavenly virtues.

The ironic fact is that SE made "sin" items based on those "virtues". The sins are those virtues carried to extremes.Crispleaf wrote:Actually, there is some merit to the idea.

The seven deadly sins are greed, anger, envy, lust, gluttony, sloth and the worst of all, pride.
The sin items seem to be named after them.
Invidiousness is envy, infatuation is lust, insolence is pride, indolence is sloth, indignation is anger, indulgence is greed, and intemperance is gluttony.
