As some of you may or may not have noticed... im rarely ever on anymore. In the boards or in FFXI. So i'm planning on leaving and concentrating on more... local issues.
I was wondering how i can suspend my account so that if i ever come back, i can try to re-activate it later with SE's return to vana'diel thing.
Its been a fun year and a half... I'm kinda sad to have to go.

I had my account suspended for two months due to some real life issues of my own. When I re-activated my account there was a notice saying that my character would be retreivable up until a date in March 2006 (about 9 mths from the day of suspension. I hadn't deleted my character, just had the account suspended btw.
I've also had friends leave, delete their character and come back with it after the 3mth date was well.
Hope things get better for you and you'll come back one day^^

my account hasnt been suspended yet.. i wanna know how to force an account suspension so that i might be able to come back later if things get back in order.

Want to know how to force an account suspension? Stop paying. You'll recieve a notice about your account being suspended and you have 3 months to re-activate said account before the characters go poof.
In the end, I'm just talking out of my ass. So take it all with a grain of salt.
