Both smithing and woodcrafting I just did a couple things in cause it was convinent, no plans to take them up yet.
In the end, I'm just talking out of my ass. So take it all with a grain of salt.

um.... what exactly is wrong with my account, my b/f's sisters account and my friend jamies? my bonecraft was 50.... i had the guild items.... now nothing!? I contacted POL support, and their "LOOKING" into the information, but its like it doesnt remember my crafting.... my bonecraft is back to where it was months ago!? WHAT THE F***!?

I talked to many on diabolos during a farewell.... and they've had their crafting info die off too... is this a server glitch or is it related to something else?

That is one of the stranger things I have heard.

Hope you get to the bottom of it.

At the moment...

Fishing 1 (just dabbled with it a little while on the Selbina/Mhaura boat)
Cooking 3 (First craft, got kinda discouraged at the need of fire crystals. I may pick it up again later.)
Leathercraft 3 (Current craft. Most of my gil is going to skilling this. Luckily, some of the lower level stuff sells fairly well. Sheep leather goes for about 25k a stack in Sandy and Vagabond's gear sells for 4k, but it sells quite quickly and often)

Dunno. Had one friend who's account went odd, too. She had River gloves (the RSE20) just show up in her inventory one day. She's also got like 90 in cooking and can't make anything. No matter what she tries, it just gives her the "You do not have enough skill to attempt" message. Squeenix has been "looking into" it for something like 9 months now.
