Over the last few days, I have noticed a very big improvement on the channel.
Many less fights, more feeling of community...and I saw you all speak up those who thought we are a community worth saving.
Well, we aren't the same community we were in Beta. That's true. But maybe there is a place for a chat chan and a general community like we are.
Until yesterday, I was going to break it. I meant what I said. But so many of you came forward and asked me not to.
So the rules are simple:
1) No fighting on the channel. I don't care who started it. Take it to /tell.
2) Try to answer people. Don't ignore them. Make them feel wanted, even if you don't know them at all.
3) Don't poke fun at people too much. Some take it seriously. Kidding around is okay but please don't do it all the time or take it too far. Please.
4) We are a chat chan for the most part, but I'd like a sense of community even so. I know that you're not all hopelessly selfish. I really hope you show the same kind of community feeling that you showed the last few days.
5) Please, *please*, don't give me a bad name out there. Please make it up to me by being courteous, kind, and by taking the higher road than others. If you have fought with somebody, go up to them and try to make up and apologize and try to get them to understand. I've done that too. Sometimes it works. I'm imploring you.
It is *your* LS as well, if you make it so. I hope you do, and I hope you earn the right to keep it every day the same way you did the last few days. I hope you have all learned a lesson. I've learned one as well: I learned how to listen when things really matter to you about this linkshell.
And I hope that you all learned that Christmas Miracles can happen. =)
