Some little problems I encountered >.<
...when you ask a friend to lend you 8,000$ to create a linkshell

...when you ask someone what level he/she is when you mean age

...when you say "tell" everytime you want to say something to someone

...when you try to use black/white magic on someone during a real fight

...when you enter a shop and ask what weapons they have

...when you enter a city you've never been and desperate to find a mapseller

... when you try to imitate smiley's with your face ( ^_^, >.< , -_- )

...when you say rrrrrrrr instead if r

...when your desperate to pull a weapon @ something to gain exp

...when you want to kill someone when he/she says something bad about FFXI

You know you play too much ffxi when you find yourself pressing Page up Page down, trying to zoom in and out on your desktop.

I have done this before. I've also restarted my computer thinking that there was something wrong with it since it wasn't zooming in. LOL

You know you play too much FF XI when you don't make yourself any ol' kind of tea; you make yourself San d'Orian black tea.

I mentioned something about making Windurstian tea to my roommate the other night. ...then realized what I'd said and figured I needed sleep more than caffiene from tea.

You know you've been playing FFXI too much when:

You watch a football game and laugh because the guy getting tackled didn't have Perfect Dodge.

You forget how to work the microwave because you've gotten too used to cooking with crystals.

You get pulled over and wonder how the police aggroed you.

You don't go fishing anymore for fear of Sea Horror climbing aboard.

You start referring to your lingerie as RSE.

-dream about being in game as your character, so realisitic that the only way it doesnt match reality is when you see your linkshell chat appear in your chat log, but god you wish it was real (did that waay to many times)
Edit: oops forgot to put in my text

anyways, That reminds me of one wierd dream I had...seemed to be a combo of a whole lot of stuff i was doin recently...sorry it's a bit lengthy but it's a dream y'no?

ok, so i'm this like half dragon thing (I write a story about a half-dragon) and some other dragon flies up to me and tells me i have to go rescue this princess(Legend of Zelda) so i go over to my cousin's house(havent seen him in years even though he lives just down the road) and go into the basement into this big dungeon place. So i'm walking around and there's a bunch of rats and stuff so i pull out a Greatsword(here's where the FFXI stuff starts coming in) and start hackin them to bits. Then i find the princess person and a big worm attacks. So then apperantly i'm guessing i possess the princess(cool!) and start castin high-lvl black magic on the thing and kill it. Then we go back up the stairs which one of the rolly ladder things now apperantly.... cant get up so I run back and turn into a ball and start spinnin and blast up (Sonic the Hedgehog) and then there's this guy apperantly followin us so i throw the ladder of the hinges(i'm so evil) and then put my sword on the table. Eventually he's almost up the ladder so I go over and get my sword which is now instead of a greatsword, now a scimitar-like thing. so i go up to him and he's just like "screw it i just wanna go home" and he leaves....and Mitchel(the cousin whose house i am currently at) is sittin on the couch playin is GBA... look over at the kitchen table and this guy in a black cloak with a scythe(who could it possibly be? :) ) next to him is sittin there eating a bowl of Frosted Flakes(they're Grrrrreat!) so I say hi to him and he doesnt say anything. so i walk outside and after walking for a while there's a bunch of zombies everywhere (i've got waaaaay too many dreams with zombies in them) in a bunch of army-like flanks(gettin ready to lay siege on the house?) I just walk through the lines and they dont do anything. after a while i get bored and turn around. Then they aggro me  so I use flee and start runnin towards the house, more zombies deciding to attack whenever i pass them. So mitchel, through linkshell chat at the botton of the screen, tells me i started up a quest by talkin to Death while he was eating, so now he's sending the prisoners of hell after me, aint that nice? So apperantly i have to go tell him I'm not afraid or something and then he gives up and gives me something or something like that. so flee wears off and i'm almost at the door and there's a couple trash cans full of rotting fish by the house. Then there's this wierd voice that says "The water is poisoned....then i feed the bad fish to the good fish, and the goldfish DIE.....".....then i wake up.

The end! and yes my dreams are very odd

First of all I'm mixed Puerto Rican/Black:

Okay, you know you play too much FF XI when you think up of jokes like:

"What does a white mage do to a black mage in final fantasy?...give up? puts him into slavery :D "

I actually dreamt an Orc chasing me down the streets of Brooklyn. I used the /help function and everyone just stared...weird.

Axo -- love the joke. I chuckled. It reminded me of something my roommate/best friend (she's also black) and I came up with a while ago in college regarding the game of pool:

Have you ever noticed how when you're playing pool, you've got the white ball trying to get all the other colored balls into their respective corners? The white ball always goes after the solid red and yellow balls, the purple and blue ones -- and it doesn't matter if they're white with a colored stripe -- the white balls is always trying to knock them back in their place! And not only that, but the white ball always saves the black one for last. Oh, and God help you if you knock that black ball into its corner first! Then you lose! It's a conspiracy!

We even went so far as to create the NAACB - the National Association for the Advancement of Colored Balls. ROFL

I know that quest... well at least the one for my local area. Ya gotta go to a dungeon called "The DMV" thats filled with goblins, but the have thier names in green... and sometimes thiers sprites have something that looks like a nametag... well you talk to the goblin about the "Key Item: Special License Plate" and they will give you a key item "Special License Plate form" and "Waiting ticket number" then you take that form to another goblin that calls the number on the waiting ticket and you hand over alot of gil for the plate.

after that i dont know many specifics about the quest after that point... but i think it involves a long wait and you recieve the plate in your delivery box...

:?:

You know you play WAY TOO much FFXI when...

A.) The command "/autofollow" pops into your head as you're walknig behind someone.

B.) Everytime you close your eyes and the Words "Valkurm Emperor" In BIG White, Widescan-type-font scar the inside of your eyelids....

C.) You have a never-ending nightmare of losing NM spawns to GilSellers, and you're always 1 seconds off of claim.... <whimpers> "Help me..." XP

D.) When you're stuck outside a store looking for the "Audtion House Window"

E.) When the words (Word) (Up) (Home Key) become part of your vocabulary... :?

It's getting to me too...

Just last night, I was in a checkout line, buying some groceries when a guy gets into line behind me wearing a red santa hat...

My first thought was that he must have completed the Christmas quest...
