Given the amount of space you have to create a smiley I would say that it came out very well :D

I like it. It's cute and i doubt i could make something like that but if you could some how manage to make it even smaller I think it would be even cuter. :)

Oh wow, people actually seem to like it. Well then, if I find the time, I guess I'll have to try and make more, and maybe they can be used here.

A little critique: I think it needs a nose, looks like theres space to place one in. And fix up the hair a lil bit, a few black lines going through it and splitting the hair into difference pieces would fix it up decently I think(take a lil look at your avatars hair). The chin is a lil uneven, theres more chin on the left than the right, even it out a lil, otherwise the chin looks good. The ears look good. I like the right side ear a bit more, it looks good pointy, maybe make the ears look the same.. possibly a cut flip and paste, hehe..

Its a great start, a lil minor editing and I think it'll look awesome =D
