This is like the 'all you can drink' booze events... except it's something I can take part in, lol.

It can, it's like those 'all you can eat' places. But the location is key... or in less politically-correct terms... you need to choose customers that will give some thought to not shaming themselves.

If the culture is such that you won't feel shame in "don't eat, we're going to the all you can eat buffet place tonight"... I wouldn't run this promotion in such a culture.

In Tokyo though, all you can eat buffets are not all that expensive. In Singapore, you have to pay for any food you leave on your plate. It can work in places like that. In HK... they'd probably stop eating the week before.
