What were you running it on? I use the Data center pro edition and it runs great. Its REALLY demanding though, you need a bare minimum of 400MHZ and 512MB of PC-2700 or equivalent. I have 1024mb of ram and it manages it REALLY well, I have never had it crash in the year and 1/2 I have been using it....
