well i think a field test is in order. im going to hit up ghelsba for some sweet sweet elm and then i will make a spreadsheet recording my results. im probably going to use arrows from different ranks to test.

i have a question about synthesis. im at 64 in woodworking and its taking weeks to get only 1 level now. do skill ups become less and less frequent as you pass 60? at this rate im never going to get to artisan.

exactly how many levels above an item's cap must i be in order to consistantly get high quality results? also, what day do you get better result on? i have heard both light and darkday.
